I was in the garage the other day looking around and I saw an old scooter sitting in the corner, not being used and I had an idea....
I was thinking I could make a nice, small, portable mode of transportation.
I cut off the front forks/handlebars off the scooter and made the rest.
For propulsion, I used an everyday electric cordless drill. The drill simply sits in the bracket, the chuck is tightened on the shaft and a velcro strap holds it in.
A cable actuated hand throttle pulls a little bracket that pushes on the trigger.
It is a bit squirrely because its so short but it actually goes about 15kmh (10mph) for about a mile or so per charge, depending on terrain and rider weight.
Anyway, thanks for looking and enjoy
